Yesterday saw the release of the first content for ModernWarfare 3. Two maps called Liberation and Piazza consisted of the new content. These maps are only available to Elite Premium members so if you are not playing them yet, you may want to signup for an Elite Premium account.
Outside of these new maps, lots of questions have come about as to what will the full season (Jan-Sep 2012) contain? Will we get maps each month or will there be other stuff coming?
Activision has answered that question with the release of their Season Content Calendar. In short, here is what you can expect each month.
January – Two Maps (Piazza and Liberation)
February: Map
March: Map, two missions
April: Two maps
May: Map, mission
June: Map, mission, mode
July: Two maps
August: Map, mission, mode
September: Map, mission
So what do you think of this? Do you like knowing that new content is coming every month or do you prefer getting map packs like before?

For COD standards its not a bad deal $50 for this. Having this in map packs would probably cost you $75 or more
I thought the two maps that came out were nice. I am not a big fan of Piazza as it seems I am always getting shot in the back. But with 20 maps, missions, and game modes coming out in 9 months, I think that is a pretty good deal. Not to mention you get the extra Elite content for the price.
