Interested in H.A.W.X 2, but just don’t know if its a buy? As much as Wingman709 goes crazy over this game, I don’t blame you for checking it out first. Instead of renting it, you will be able to play the demo come Monday (tomorrow… August 16th). So why don’t you give the game a try? Even though the achievements were totally glitched in the first one.

Ready for some Red Dead DLC? Have you finished the first one? Well, you got only 7 days to make it happen, as Rockstar will be releasing their new DLC next week (Wednesday August 11th). Its $10 (800 MS Points). Who’s going to get it?

Plants vs. Zombies will be available on your Xbox September 8th for 1200 MS Points $15. Pretty hefty price, but its worth it. See you online then!

Do you need a new Xbox 360? Do you want an Xbox 360 Slim? Are you getting Reach? If you answered yes to the ladder two, or all of them, you could just got get yourself the newly announced Halo Reach Slim Bundle. Its 399.99, comes with a custom Xbox 360 Slim, 2 custom controllers, and of course the game. It looks very cool, and quite tempting, but I just can’t spend 400 bucks when it comes out. I am trying to save up for the Legendary Edition, but looking at the cost of that, and comparing it to buying two games and some change, I am not so sure anymore. What are you doing? Did I mention it launches with the game on September 14th?

In case you needed yet another game to run your wallet dry, here we are with RB3 getting the go ahead for October 26th.  That is all, refer here. I know what I will be doing on October 26th.

Did you watch the Video Game Awards? Did you marvel see this game trailer? Well now you can play it even though it isn’t set to release until next year thanks to 2K’s beta sign up form here. They will be accepting applications throughout the beta so make sure to get yours in, and if it starts, don’t worry they will continue to grow the population until they announce on the site that it is closed to new players. So go ahead, sign up, so we can do an FNL!

For those of you interested in Breach, the XBLA shooter, that was supposed to be here last month, it has been officially delayed until January 2011. Atomic Games (the developer) could not meet their June 2010 release date, so they have been pushed back to 2011 due to the XBLA releases till the end of the year being completely full… Bummer. Even though they are done with the game, they will be adding a Hardcore mode while we eagerly wait for the game. Sad day.

Good news for Xbox 360 owners, the Xbox 360 was up 88% in June moving a total of 451,700 units, and taking top honors beating the Wii (422,500) and thrashing the PS3 (304,800). Good job 360, but the only reason was the Xbox 360 Slim which for some reason is hugely popular…

Even though we already know the unannounced Kinect price, Microsoft wants to make sure you know exactly when its announced by one of two ways. Option 1: Go here and sign up for the still named “Project Natal” newsletter. (someone should change that to Kinect by the way) Also, if your more the on the go type, you can get txt message alerts by texting KINECT to 30360. I don’t know about you guys, but I want to know when the fantasy pets pack 1 for Kinectimals goes on sale!

Title says it all, in case you were already bored of NCAA 11 (which you will be by then). I personally can not wait for Madden. For other reasons than just to play it.

Well, 22% of them at least, as Rockstar San Diego announced that they have laid off 40 of their 180 team members that work directly on Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar is trying to spin this saying that it is part of the development cycle of a video game, but you don’t hear this that often. Nothing like a job well done pat on the back after a good game is launched, now get out. I am sure the guys that were cut will be able to find new and better jobs.

1 vs. 100 is the first Primetime show on Xbox Live, and the first one to be canceled according to Microsoft. If you want proof, you can find it on the official Xbox.com page. Microsoft will be using the freed up server space to bring more projects that have yet to be revealed.

Logic Sunrise seems to think so, as they have posted some images straight off the wire of the “new” dashboard. Go to this link to check them out, so what do you think? I personally think they are fake. The NXE gave us a brand new dashboard, completely different, and all they did here was change some perspectives and coloring? The thing that really tips me off is that one page in the Settings says, “Natal Tuner”. Wouldn’t that be Kinect? I figured I would post this to get your opinion, but I am calling these fake. If they are real, I am disappointed, really disappointed.

Of course everyone can not wait to pay 10 bucks a month for a service that is free on the PC (for now), but you will have to wait until the end of 2010 to even have a chance to populate your Xbox 360 with Huluness. Seems as though Sony wants to tout the exclusivity as Hulu Plus launches only on the PS3 for the remainder of the year. Enjoy your exclusive Sony, I really could not care. Do you?

We knew that after E3 (thanks to Aaron Greenburg and his big mouth), that the Arcade was getting a price drop. Hmm, I wonder who called that.. Anyways, what we didn’t know is if it would be getting a facelift, or continue with the great 512 MB flash memory on the board. Well, thanks to Amazon Germany (which you will have to trust me, the link it probably already gone), we know that the Arcade not only is dropping in price, but getting more on board storage. Go Microsoft.

For those of you waiting patiently for the release of Kane and Lynch 2, your patience has been rewarded because the game has been moved up one week! I think it is because the fans wanted the game so bad they did everyone a favor, but maybe it was not to compete with Mafia 2… Take your pick, they are both a wash.

If you are reading this, check out Gamestop at 12 est/11 central today to pick up Red Dead Redemption super cheap! Hopefully, this helped someone out. It is definatley worth the 24 dollars! Not sure if this is available online. Act quick! Supplies are limited, and its only for an hour.
