As most of you may know, back when Kinect’s price was offically announced Microsoft also announced an Xbox 360S arcade + Kinect Bundle for $299.

Well, the console creators put out a press release this morning and guess what was announced. They announced “The Ultimate Bundle”, which includes a 250gb Xbox 360S, Kinect, and Kinect Adventures. It will retail for $400. This will release along side all the other Kinect items on November 4th in the United States. They announced Europe will get all the Kinect stuff November 10th.

Microsoft has announced a redesigned Xbox 360 wireless controller. Based on Joystiq’s post, the new controller will debut in a matte silver color with gray-toned face buttons and analog sticks with a more dramatic concave shape. Key to the new design is a “transforming” D-pad that changes from a semi-flush disc to a pop-out plus sign by twisting the D-pad clockwise. The redesigned controller will only be available with the Play & Charge Kit. The bundle will launch on November 9 for $64.99.

I know this may not seem like something I would post about, but I’m having issues with both of my controllers so this is a great deal if you need a new one! Newegg is offering a deal on the new, all-black, glossier Xbox 360 wireless controller (the one that comes with the Xbox 360 “S”). Normally $39.99, it’s going for $29.99, which may not be a big drop in price, but it’s nice when you were not expecting the expense.

Microsoft kind of released some info on possible new features in the new Kinect Dashboard. Looking at the features of Kinect Adventures is clearly says: “Show off and share. Adventures are best when shared with friends and family members. Express yourself and pose for the camera as it captures Photo Moments of you and your friends tackling adventures together. Use your body and voice to create live videos called “Living Statues” as the reward for a job well done. Share the fun with friends on the Internet through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, e-mail and anywhere you choose.”

So what do you think? Are we going to get a YouTube and E-mail app? Or a web browser all together?

Rare has said that our beloved Avatars are getting a redesign due to problems with Kinect games.

Nick Burton, senior programmer at avatar creators Rare, says that they’ll become more realistic and will essentially be ‘Avatar 2.0′.

The proportions will be made more realistic because hand-eye co-ordination broke when using the old cartoony proportions – not in terms of hardware but rather, player perception.

That’s all we know for now but expect to see the new avatars around Kinect’s launch.

Are you a fan of NetFlix on your 360?  Prepare to enjoy it even more starting September 1st as movies from the Epix TV channel will start streaming via NetFlix.  Epix is run by MGM, Paramount, and Lionsgate.  NetFlix will get to stream their movies 90 days after they arrive on Epix.  With those three large movie companies, the amount of movies available via streaming should be pretty awesome.

Microsoft today confirmed the release of a $200 redesigned Xbox 360 is on the way.

The new Xbox 360 model will feature the redesign unveiled at E3 last month which includes built-in WiFi and a proprietary plug for the Kinect motion sensor and a matte black finish. (Old Xbox 360′s will use USB for Kinect)

The new model, which will replace the $150 Xbox 360 Arcade model, will also include 4GB of internal flash memory. The model will have an empty hard drive slot, but Microsoft’s product manager Aaron Greenberg tells Kotaku there are still no news on hard drives for the new Xbox 360s. Continue Reading…

Microsoft’s Kinect add-on for the Xbox 360 will be $150 and come with a copy of Kinect Adventures when the motion controller hits stores in November, the company said today. Kinect games will sell for $50 each.

Microsoft’s news today confirms rumor about the price of the add-on that have been making the rounds since the date for Kinect was unveiled at E3 last month.

The Kinect kit will come with both the proprietary cable that works with Microsoft’s latest Xbox 360 and a USB cable and power cord that will work with the original Xbox 360s. Continue Reading…

Good news for Xbox 360 owners, the Xbox 360 was up 88% in June moving a total of 451,700 units, and taking top honors beating the Wii (422,500) and thrashing the PS3 (304,800). Good job 360, but the only reason was the Xbox 360 Slim which for some reason is hugely popular…

Even though we already know the unannounced Kinect price, Microsoft wants to make sure you know exactly when its announced by one of two ways. Option 1: Go here and sign up for the still named “Project Natal” newsletter. (someone should change that to Kinect by the way) Also, if your more the on the go type, you can get txt message alerts by texting KINECT to 30360. I don’t know about you guys, but I want to know when the fantasy pets pack 1 for Kinectimals goes on sale!

Well, 22% of them at least, as Rockstar San Diego announced that they have laid off 40 of their 180 team members that work directly on Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar is trying to spin this saying that it is part of the development cycle of a video game, but you don’t hear this that often. Nothing like a job well done pat on the back after a good game is launched, now get out. I am sure the guys that were cut will be able to find new and better jobs.

Logic Sunrise seems to think so, as they have posted some images straight off the wire of the “new” dashboard. Go to this link to check them out, so what do you think? I personally think they are fake. The NXE gave us a brand new dashboard, completely different, and all they did here was change some perspectives and coloring? The thing that really tips me off is that one page in the Settings says, “Natal Tuner”. Wouldn’t that be Kinect? I figured I would post this to get your opinion, but I am calling these fake. If they are real, I am disappointed, really disappointed.

Of course everyone can not wait to pay 10 bucks a month for a service that is free on the PC (for now), but you will have to wait until the end of 2010 to even have a chance to populate your Xbox 360 with Huluness. Seems as though Sony wants to tout the exclusivity as Hulu Plus launches only on the PS3 for the remainder of the year. Enjoy your exclusive Sony, I really could not care. Do you?

We knew that after E3 (thanks to Aaron Greenburg and his big mouth), that the Arcade was getting a price drop. Hmm, I wonder who called that.. Anyways, what we didn’t know is if it would be getting a facelift, or continue with the great 512 MB flash memory on the board. Well, thanks to Amazon Germany (which you will have to trust me, the link it probably already gone), we know that the Arcade not only is dropping in price, but getting more on board storage. Go Microsoft.

Well, it took them awhile, but they finally decided to announce Hulu for our Xbox 360s… Problem is, that the service is going to set you back 10 bucks a month ON TOP of your Xbox Live Gold Subscription (now I know why it didn’t make the press briefing). To make matters even worse, it doesn’t come to the Xbox 360 till 2011, while the PS3 will get it sometime in July.

As apart of Hulu Plus, they also have an app for the iPhone which I decided to download to see if I could find anymore information. It looks like there is a “free” section where there are some full episodes, but no ability to search, and a “featured” section that you would have to log into your account for, and then have a subscription.

Is it worth it to me? Nope. Thoughts?
