Rockstar has obviously had enough with the online cheating going on, and is sending out it’s own team to stop these cheaters.

A message on the company’s website reads in part, “…to ensure we preserve the integrity of gameplay for all online, we are actively working on new features to counter against the isolated incidents of abuse that go on. They also went on to announce a patch for the game (hopefully out within a month or two) will fix some of the nagging issues with online play. This patch will fix some of the bullying going on in free roam, by letting players choose where they want to spawn if someone keeps going after you. They also said that if anyone gets a six-kill streak in Free Roam mode will instantly attain “Most Wanted” status and the NPC law will get after them.

Rockstar has had enough, and if you are cheating; you will get caught and punished. Glad to see a developer cleaning up such a fun game with such fun online play.

Capcom has delayed the release of zombie-fest Dead Rising 2, but thankfully the game isn’t being pushed back for too long.

Dead Rising 2 was originally scheduled to come out in August, but the game is now scheduled to be available on September 28.
