’)It is the holiday season, and therefore we are down two hosts, but you still got Wingman709 and moroniccow bringing you an hour long show to wrap up 2009.
We talked about what we played, as well as hit some miscellaneous news that we thought were important to hit in a dull holiday week. It wouldn’t be a This Xbox Life podcast if Mark didn’t have a quasi rant about a certain game he played.

Kyle I would actually recommend going back and playing Mass Effect 1, if you have it, mostly because you’ll better remember your decisions in the sequel. I just played through it over the past few, and actually got the completionist achievement (complete 75% or so of the game, including side quests). Despite the poor shooting the game actually still plays fairly well.
I know this seems to be a wall of text, but to sum it up I would definitely recommend playing again.
Boy were you guys wrong about borderlands achievements, hahah i better get a shout-out in the next episode for being moroniccows and comrads gunsmith
Last week I said you had me convinced to get Borderlands, but after Christmas, I ended up with ~10 new games, including arcade games and DLC. It’s going to be awhile before I can join in the Borderlands fun. Sounds like you also convinced me to pick up Saboteur while it’s on sale at Best Buy for $40.
Sadly though, after taking about a week break from MW2, I just couldn’t get back into playing it again last night, it just wasn’t fun. Hopefully that means I can get through some other new games now! I’m especially looking forward to playing more Left 4 Dead 2, so if anyone wants to rack up some acheivements, let me know.
why not pick a listener or 2 when you are short on people.i am sure we have some pretty intelligent people that listen to your podcast.i am sure most of us keep our ear to the ground and a few of us have some contacts within the industry.looks like i really now need to purchase the sabateur and re rent borderlands.

Couple of things. First of all we have actually been in discussions about possibly brining in a guest host from time to time in the next year. The guest would be a listener. This however has its issues and we are trying to work on those to see if we can make it happen.
You do have a great idea, but we need to be able to plan ahead of time for a guest to join us. Typically, our loss of hosts is last minute like it was this past week. We did not know about it until we were ready to record. Life gets in the way sometimes and at that point we don’t have the time to find others.
SoulAssassin808 has sat in a couple of times and he is a great host. We love having him on because he is good at it, plays TONS of games, and brings us a perspective from Europe that the rest of us don’t have. Problem is, he is about 6 or 7 hours ahead of us so that makes it like 6 am his time and he is usually heading to bed at that time. hahaha.
But don’t be surprised if you get a message from one of us soon asking if some of you listeners would like to join us one week.
We are also thinking about having another Live show, but again there are some big technical issues involved with that which is a hassle and kills our audio quality. But again, its about you guys and we know many of you love the Live shows. So we hope to have one of them soon.
