Everyone is back in action for Episode 11! This week Cow and Wing cover their reviews of Fable II and Dead Space, I touch a little on Xbox Live Censorship, and Presar updates us with some future EA sequels. Also Cow is having a delima and needs our help to point him in the right direction. Before we called it a night, Major Spork and Sensei Wuzi send us their comments and questions in our VIP section.
This Xbox Life turns 10 this week. It wasn’t a complete birthday since Presar was MIA, but the three of us pulled it together. We covered how you can stay up-to-date on Wingman’s gamerscore with XBerry Live, our top rentals/purhcases for this holiday season, and we start the party with Cow’s very own PS3 story. Before we called it quits we explained how Microsoft is going to solve the NXE storage issue and we hit the VIP section with your comments and questions. Enjoy the show!
Brun is MIA this week but we manage to hold the show together without him. We do this by hitting topics like what it means to the consumer with companies like EA trying to stop Used Video Game sales, the release date for the New Xbox Experience, do print magazines matter anymore, news of Halo 3 Recon, and Blu-Ray rumors are back. We close out the show with a list of announced DLC coming out for Guitar Hero World Tour the week the game releases. So enjoy the show and be sure to tell your friends about us. Please also leave us feedback on iTunes. The more feedback we have, the more people will know about our show. Thanks.
We are back this week and better than ever! After a 1 week delay, a long episode 7 is ready for download. We covered Rock Band 2, Rock Band 2, and even some Rock Band 2. After our small Rock Band 2 discussion we added a little Guitar Hero World Tour, Fable 2, and Halo 3. Our VIP section brought us a question about Spore and DRM so don’t miss it.
This week, we got new pricing for the Xbox 360’s and the high priced hard drives. We then hit the time machine back to the 80’s to discuss a new game coming to the XBLA. Brun and Wing air their feelings about Metallica. This leads us to a discussion about pay-to-play game demos and paying for in-game items instead of actually earning them by playing the game. Then we discuss the closing of Ensemble Studios and if that will impact the quality of Halo Wars. We have some great questions from you this week and that is what we wrap the show up with. But don’t miss out as we have a nice song for your listening pleasure after the show. Its called Achievement Unlocked by George Wood. Enjoy.
Everyone is here this week….well sort of. Wingman709 is on location somewhere but he is coming to you live via Satellite. The three other Xbox guru’s are here as well and this week we start out by spending a lot of time (probably to much) discussing a potential PR issue for Activision, Sony, and Nintendo regarding fees being required to play Guitar Hero World Tour. Yet online play will be free for Xbox 360. You will not want to miss this discussion.
You demanded more, so we recorded. Ok, you didn’t demand it, but we were bored so we decided to record another show. And this time we are reunited with our good friend Kyle (a.k.a. Moroniccow). So now you get to listen to four melodious voices, that is when ever Rob decides to talk which is not often, but he will come around (or we will make him swim with the fishes).
