This past week a group of hackers tried to ruin every gamer’s Christmas by attacking both Xbox Live servers and Playstation network servers on Christmas day. Rob, Brun and Mark get into a heated discussion about the motivations for them do do this and who they are hurting. Also, they discuss a public appearance about one of these supposed attackers.

Brun covers the news this week and the guys discuss the games that they’ve been playing which include Kalimba, Diablo 3 and Skylanders Trap Team.

Lastly, the guys talk about their favorite and worst games of 2014.

This week Rob, Brun and Mark hit the ground running and talk about some of the cool new games they have been playing. This includes Kalimba, Forza Horizon 2 Storm Island DLC and Risk.

Rob covers the latest news stories from the past week which includes new releases of Kalimba, Tetris Ultimate, Forza Horizon 2 DLC and Risk. Upcoming games include Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4, Smite, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 and Far Cry 4 DLC. Lastly, there’s the Halo Master Chief Collection apology and what owners of the collection will get for free.

In this week’s roundtable the guys talk about are gamers paying full retail prices to have the privilege to be beta testers? We’re getting all these games lately that sometimes need months to get working properly and what can we do to get around this. Then the guys talk about the rumors of Microsoft’s new streaming service… what can this offer and is it for us? Lastly, with rumors of a Microsoft VR headset on the horizon, do we want or need this?

Then in the community section we hear a voicemail from catflap1970 that asks about projectors. Rob shares his experience with projectors and offers some tips on choice and use.

The holiday shopping season has begun with the recent Black Friday sales starting. Rob, Brun and Mark discuss what they thought of the start of the holiday deals. Have there been any significant gamer deals? One thing’s for sure and that’s that buyers of new Xbox One consoles have been getting fantastic deals with the recent price drop of the Xbox one and the varying bundles.

The guys also discuss some recent games that they’ve been playing and what their thoughts of them are. Ubisoft dropped the season pass this past week and some of the reasoning just doesn’t make sense. Why? Although it sure is great to get a free game worth 2x it’s cost! What will they do for future DLC?

In other news, Brun goes through the new Games with Gold games for December, new releases and more!

In the roundtable, the guys discuss some of the poor feelings early adopters have with the current 30% off pricing on the Xbox One.
